(EN) On Friday, March 17, the Student Tribunal for International Dispute Settlement (STIDS) will proceed to its hearings in the case of the legality of the Greek public debt. The Tribunal is seized, in particular, of the question of the conformity to international law of the 2015 Memorandum of Understanding between the European Union, Greece and the Bank of Greece (August 2015). The tribunal will hear Professor Christian Tams (U. of Glasgow) and Professor Antonios Tzanakopoulos (University of Oxford) respectively defending the interests of the European Union and the Hellenic Republic.
